Warehouse & Logistics Manager – Orly – Paris, France

Since 2004, JRP|Editions (formerly JRP|Ringier, 2004–2018) has established itself as one of the leading international and independent publishers of contemporary art, partnering with artists, museums, galleries, and private institutions worldwide. We have built up a catalogue of more than 500 titles currently in active distribution (in English, German, and French) in the contemporary art field.

In Fall 2019, JRP|Editions launched a brand-new website to reflect its new impetus and its Multiples’s department, which produces limited editions such as lithograph, screenprint, sculpture, bronze and mirror.

In order to support our growing development, we are looking for a hardworking person to manage our warehouse operations.

 

Key Missions

 

  • Keeping our warehouse tidy and organized on a daily basis
  • Using the warehouse space and all mechanical handling equipment efficiently, while guaranteeing orders are packed properly with quality and care for our customers to receive their orders in pristine condition
  • Making sure orders are picked, packed and delivered on time
  • Maintaining stock control systems are up-to-date for a constant accurate inventory status
  • Controlling inventory of packaging materials and order new materials, when needed
  • Managing each shipment on a daily basis
  • Requesting and negotiating offers from national and international carrier companies to organize special shipments
  • Liaising with suppliers and transport companies
  • Taking care of deliveries and pickups around Paris region, if necessary
  • Ensuring standards of health and safety in the work environment

 

Required profile

 

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to respect tight deadlines for multiple projects at the same time
  • Numeracy and a financial understanding of stock management
  • Technical and IT skills, when it comes to database management and spreadsheets
  • Accuracy and high attention to details
  • Problem-solving skills and adaptable to working in an ever-changing environment
  • Experience with handling fine art products
  • Valid driving license in case deliveries or pick-ups are required
  • Fluency in French with excellent English language
  • Interest in art and creative culture.

Administration Intern (60%-100%) - ZÜRICH - SWITZERLAND

Missions

 

  • Undertake clerical tasks, such as sending and accepting letters and packages
  • General administration duties, including scanning, printing, photocopying and filing
  • Track stock of office supplies and place order when necessary
  • Assist with bookkeeping and data entry requests
  • Manage and control the team’s expenses
  • Support the team with organization of events and fairs
  • Take meeting minutes and share with the team
  • Maintain a tidy work environment
  • Carry out other duties and miscellaneous tasks as needed

Product designer & developer - PARIS - FRANCE / SWITZERLAND

In order to support our growing development, we are looking for a product designer to help us develop our brand image and expand our product catalogue.

 

Missions

 

Product design

  • Conceive designs to ideate the product, especially for sculpture and 3D projects.
  • Create a design identity for each product to take projects from idea to production.
  • Visual design skills with proficiency in typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, iconography and aesthetic presentation to enhance the product through pictures and/or short videos.
  • Retouch pictures taken (cropping, brightness, ranking…) to offer the product’s best visual aspect.
  • Design proposals for each product (banners, Instagram visuals) adapted to communication media, to promote it. 

 

Product development & management

  • Work on physical packaging and image branding for each product.
  • Oversee product launches, development, testing, and P&L in order to optimize what we offer to our customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers.
  • Look for new suppliers to work with, to introduce and market new products.
  • Follow-up timetables on each project by keeping an up-to-date planning and report of production and release.

 

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in design.
  • Experience of translating 2D images into 3D designs.
  • Creative and technical, you are passionate about web evolution and like to share your technical and artistic vision.
  • You are proactive and like to offer web-oriented graphic solutions.
  • Knowledge of tools like 3D Max, SolidWorks, Rhino, AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, VRay, SketchUp.
  • Strong planning, project management, and organization skills with the ability to meet deadlines and deliverables for multiple projects.
  • Fluent in both French and English.
  • Interest in contemporary art and creative culture.

Digital Marketing & Sales Coordinator - GENEVA - SWITZERLAND

Key Missions

  • Prospect for new business through networking, cold calling, or other sales activities
  • Discover new sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts
  • Conduct industry/market research
  • Respond to sales inquiries from new and existing customers
  • Maintain customer relationships with CRM
  • Manage the digital lead acquisition and strategy through Search, Emails, Paid Social, PPC, and Display, and ensure effective targeting to drive growth

  • Provide constructive market tips and consumer insights (based on analysis of the market, benchmark on the digital best practices, analysis of the consumers’ needs and specificities) to the team
  • Help to achieve ambitious targets in terms of new customer acquisition by fueling the sales pipeline with qualified leads, but also raising our brand awareness and improving our product understanding

Required profile

  • At least 2 years of digital marketing and e-commerce experience
  • Proven skill with the following tools : WordPress, Woocommerce, Mailchimp, Business Manager, SEM, PPC, Display

Community Manager - PARIS - FRANCE

Key Missions

 

  • Driving the success of social media engagement: responsible for creation and upload of all daily social media posts in order to grow community engagement and consumer awareness
  • Building up communications strategies: understanding the audience of each channel, defining the appropriate communication style – which will allow the company to target a wider audience -, and mapping out a development plan
  • Delivering best-in-class customer service: working closely with the team to provide the customer with relevant information, advice and conversion opportunity, while flagging potential hiccups and resolving any issues
  • Taking ownership of lead generations: proactively sourcing potential customers by identifying collectors and art lovers for our online listings and upcoming art projects
  • Utilizing and optimising customers feedbacks: collecting data through interacting, listening, monitoring social behaviours and trends, to relay found results to the internal stakeholders
  • Planning and Reporting: creating weekly content plans and monthly calendars in order to better coordinate across our socials media channels ; develop and create weekly, monthly and campaign analytics reports

Required profile

 

  • At least 3 years of managing social media platforms
