A grown-up children’s book
In Zilla Leutenegger’s new book, the artist’s main character “Zilla” is given her own voice. The very personal narration accompanies the adventures of this alter-ego character and explains works, drawings, and installations in the style of a grown-up children’s book.
In addition to the works are academic texts by Beate Söntgen and Dorothee Messmer on Leutenegger’s work, focusing on the relation of spatial environments, rooms, architecture, and the human figure.
Published with Kartause Ittingen.
The publication is part of the series of artists’ projects edited by Christoph Keller.
