An anthology
After a first publication (Vol. I) and two exhibitions, in Buenos Aires (2011) and in Valparaiso (2013),“Of Bridges & Borders, Vol. II,” extends the vision of the project by bringing together a broad range of writers invited to share their ideas about bridges and borders.
Anthropologists, philosophers, artists, researchers, sociologists, editors, graphic designers, and architects are thus gathered together in this new volume.
From singular stories to complex researches, the essays address new technologies, contemporary art, migration and city developments, innovations in construction, freedom of speech, and utopian urbanism.
Including contributions by Marc Augé, Graciela Speranza, Juan Herreros, Marcos Giralt Torrent, Lawrence Weiner, Rossana Reguillo, Ricardo Menéndez Salmón, Fátima Vélez on Simón Vélez, Olivier Zybok; Carlo Ratti, Nashid Nabian & Luca Simeone, Diana Wechsler on Christian Boltanski, Saskia Sassen, Alejandro Grimson, Kyong Park, Valentina Montero Peña & Vanina Hofman, Sandro Mezzadra, Jenny Holzer, and Teddy Cruz.
