Mapping reality
A catalogue conceived as a reader, as a collection of different types of texts. Writers, critics, artists and scientist were asked to write pieces inspired by the artist’s research or one of their specific works that form par of the BSI Art Collection. The narrative, or conversly scientific, dimension was favoured over art criticism or any form of aesthetic, sociological or political/economical analysis.

Texts by Jennifer Allen, Luca Cerizza, Paul Elliman, Tom Gidley, Joachim Koester, Anders Kreuger, Francesco Manacorda, Helen Mirra, Hans Ulrich Obrist, Philippe Parreno, and Raimar Stange.
The book is published by the commissioner, BSI (Banca della Svizzera Italiana) as part of the BSI Art Collection series, on their collection in Geneva and Lausanne, Switzerland, and edited by the Italian curator and critic Luca Cerizza.
